Discovery Magic Onsen D-P
As a project to commemorate the “sister springs” relation between Dōgo Onsen and Xinbeitou Hot Springs in Taiwan, a make-believe story that links the two springs unfolded, with the shopping arcade as a backdrop. The shopping arcade leading to the Honkan was festooned with bright red banners advertising the story, leading visitors deeper into the narrative. The venue was a former “snack bar” in which sculpture symbolizing the two hot springs was exhibited.
